As children return to school after the Easter break, it is important to think of those who are reaching a transitional point in their education. For many it will be the last term in an environment with which they have been familiar for many years. It will be a time which is potentially stressful as examinations loom large and the young people will want to give a good account of themselves.
Some youngsters will be facing the end of formal education and be seeking to find their first jobs, a daunting prospect in itself.
Let's hope that they are all supported by caring friends, family and mentors who will help them to keep a sense of proportion and retain their self-esteem
