Not able to get to your church because of travel difficulties or on holiday, having moved away or just simply a bit lonely. Maybe wanting to try church but unwilling to enter a building.

Then the Church of the Living Stream could be your answer and is just a click away. In fact we have worked hard to ensure joining us is easy. Choose when to join from and click on this link.

The Church of the Living Stream was born out of the need to keep worshipping during the initial covid Lockdown, thus we developed a very distinctive Zoom Service and launched into on-line worship. Because of its interactive nature, if anything our fellowship deepened during Lockdown.

The format is not the broadcasting or streaming of a traditional hymn/prayer sandwich. It is a forty-minutes interpersonal worship experience, where we can see each other and join in fellowship. Usually, we have just two hymns with meaningful illustrations verse by verse. Prayers and readings are delivered by several different individuals within each service and there is time for conversation before and after the worship. We have those who take part in such a manner and those who prefer to just join us in fellowship.

We are no longer limited by geography and we are able to reach out to people in care homes, hospital, as well as the housebound. We are able to retain contact with friends who have moved away from the area or are on holiday. The Sunday service are open to all and joining us is simply a click away.

We are an open church, there is no further commitment in joining our service. You can just join us for one Sunday or become a regular. You can even join us as audio only so you are not visible to others.

Wednesday Fellowship

Wednesdays
10.25 am (London)
Every Wednesday morning at 10.30 we have an on-line fellowship where people can see and talk to each other on Zoom. This grew out of a conventional house fellowship during the lockdown period when we were unable to meet in person.

Typically on a Wednesday about a dozen people participate: we usually have three pre-selected items such as hymns or poems which we read; a different person reading each verse out loud.

There is also a time of prayer, for people we know and for the world in general. The “people specific” parts of this will not be on the webcast.

If you would like a copy of the script for the week, please email

Wednesday fellowship aims to bring people together and think about aspects of faith in a semi-structured and unserious way.

The Ladies Group

The Ladies’ Group.
Monthly on a Tuesday.
In members’ homes or in social venues.

Kempshott Ladies’ Group is a small group of ladies who meet once a month .  It has met for at least forty years, although the times of meetings have changed.  It is open to anyone in the Kempshott local area and beyond.  During Lockdowns we met on-line more frequently and included former members who had moved away and other people in the area who valued the companionship it offered.  We have now reverted to monthly meetings in each other’s homes or at social venues.

What is it? The Ladies’ Group.

When does it happen? A Tuesday morning of each month.

Where and when does it happen?   In members’ homes or in social venues

KOMBAT
Once Per Month
Kempshott or Local Area
Fancy a night out with the lads?

Open to anyone, KOMBAT was formed some 20 years ago and is a men’s supper group open to anyone in the Kempshott or local area.

It is intended to enable men to enjoy an evening out with the companionship and banter typical of such an evening. The chaps that come along are from a varied background, mostly with no church affiliation.

We meet once a month and the evenings included pool, darts, 10pin bowling and visits to local restaurants to try out different foods. A trip to Newbury Races is an opportunity to invite along the ladies.
