Creator God, thank you for the wonderful world i which you have placed us. We rejoice in its rich variety and admire the many fruits of your creation. Thank you also for the many companions whose fellowship enriches our lives. Thank you for the skills through which we have developed the ability to help each other.

In our times of comfort, help us to remember those individuals who are less fortunate than ourselves. Teach us how to reach out to those in need; those who face economic difficulties; those whose relationships have foundered; those whose physical or mental health is at risk and those who suffer from isolation and loneliness. May we find ways to demonstrate your,love and care to all your children.
