Caring God, we hold before you all those who suffer loss, knowing that you will seek them out to help them. We think of those who have wandered and become lost; we trust you to reach out to them and return them to known territory.

We think of those who have lost something special and precious; we trust you to give them the faith to keep on searching until they find it again.

We think of those who have wilfully turned their backs on the way of truth and peace; we know that you stand ready to forgive and use their experiences for the benefit of others.

Help us to follow the path of faith that Jesus showed us. Amen
