Caring God, we bring before you all who find themselves in pain, whether physical, mental or spiritual. Be close to those who have been affected by wild fires to the point of losing their homes. Comfort those who are recovering from medical procedures and give them the faith to trust that all will be well. Reach out to those who live with anxiety about the health of loved ones. Give them the right words and gestures to support the processes of healing and acceptance.

Help us to think globally and to ensure that our actions do not impose risks on others. Prevent us from ignoring opportunities to make other people's lives bearable by offering kind words and encouragement.
