Caring God, as the weather becomes colder and the predictions about the cost of energy in the coming season rise, we seek your guidance on how to protect those who are particularly vulnerable. We think of homeless people, people with large families and small incomes, the elderly, the sick and the lonely.

We thank you for the initiatives which have been developed over the years; community centres, warm hubs, and food banks. These centres have responded to physical needs but they have also created social groups which have alleviated loneliness. Help us to be aware of them and to support them as best we can.
