Father God thank you for the strength that comes from caring families; for supportive parents; for loving grand-parents; for healthy children who are able to thrive in well-established communities.

Help us to recognise that not all families are able to provide the physical, mental and spiritual support which ensures a smooth transition to adulthood. Help us to be aware of those who are at risk and to support agencies which provide emergency care. Thank you for all who work in child protection. Inspire carers to treat their charges with compassion and empathy.
