If you are unable to attend your local church due to travel constraints,
relocation, or personal reasons such as loneliness or reluctance to enter a
church building, the Church of the Living Stream offers an accessible
alternative. Our online platform was established in response to the initial
COVID-19 lockdown, enabling us to continue worship through a unique
Zoom service designed for interactive participation.

Joining our congregation is straightforward—simply select your preferred
time and follow the provided link. Unlike traditional broadcast services, our
sessions emphasize interpersonal engagement, allowing participants to see
one another and actively join in worship and fellowship. Each service
typically includes hymns, enhanced with illustrative commentary, and
features prayers and readings delivered by various members of the
congregation. Time is allocated before and after the service for conversation
and connection.

Our community extends beyond geographic boundaries, reaching individuals
in care homes, hospitals, and those who are housebound. We also maintain connections with members who have relocated or are traveling. The Sunday
service is open to everyone, with no obligation beyond participation—you
may join for a single session or become a regular attendee. For greater
privacy, audio-only participation is also available.

Wednesday Fellowship

Wednesdays
10.25 am (London)
Every Wednesday morning at 10.30 we have an on-line fellowship where people can see and talk to each other on Zoom. This grew out of a conventional house fellowship during the lockdown period when we were unable to meet in person.

Typically on a Wednesday about a dozen people participate: we usually have three pre-selected items such as hymns or poems which we read; a different person reading each verse out loud.

There is also a time of prayer, for people we know and for the world in general. The “people specific” parts of this will not be on the webcast.

If you would like a copy of the script for the week, please email

ian.b.harrison@btinternet.com

Wednesday fellowship aims to bring people together and think about aspects of faith in a semi-structured and unserious way.

Prayer Meetings

We hold online prayer meetings on Zoom. They are used to pray for specific situations and people. They can be held anytime but are usually in the half hour before the Sunday Service.

If you have particular concerns or would like us to pray for something please let us know.
